If everything is about marketing, you can sell used toilet paper. It just depends on how you market it. They're already selling the crap, why not sell the paper as well. Here's my idea: selling used plastic q-tips because of nostalgia. What's more nostalgic than that?
Here's a question: when is the last time you didn't fake excitement? The idiots who think that everything is about marketing have memorised a formula for success. It's the opposite of excitement. It's predictive desperation. An illusion. It's the most commercial approach and it has nothing to do with actual long term commitment.
This is nothing but desperate people trying to justify narrow-mindedness. In other words, nothing but condescending force feeding from these marketing maniacs.
Don't tell me what is "hashtag relatable." You're just revealing how much uniqueness is frowned upon.
Those who don't chase numbers usually understand that money is a boring topic. It might seem like the only topic when all is mainstream and all is glossy. Have fun being bored to death.
The more I see this discouraging crap around me, the more creative, playful and open-minded I want to be.
