The purpose of the new creative underground

The creative underground is here to introduce something new, take risks, raise the bar and focus on what is important.

If the first thing out of your mouth is money and numbers, you are insane. These sell-outs are proud of being mentally lazy cowards.
I love how they reveal themselves. Unfortunately this anti-art aggression is one of the most actively marketed movements. Their job is to brainwash you into believing that everyone's dream is to be the "most popular" or "the highest rated."

I'm going to tell you what the dream is. The dream is making these things. Since 2012, I have recorded 20 albums, made 400 drawings, released one feature film and three short films. I have been living the dream.

The current mainstream nitwits have embraced the 'mindless garbage dump' approach. There's nothing special or unique about anything they're hyping.

Why am I using the word creative in addition to the underground? Like many initially exciting terms, the underground has been debased by desperate lunatics. True creative impulse cannot be prostituted. There's nothing visionary about doing stupid things in order to fit in. It's the celebration of opportunity instead of creativity. When there's a specific audience waiting for specific things, that's when things are dead.

"Do your own thing", "you do you", "believe you can." Is anyone actually ready for these things? What is the point of DIY if you're not allowed to DI?
